Postponed

In consideration of the health and safety of our participants, speakers, community and region we are postponing the April 7 Blue Forum.  We will be finding a new date later in the spring or summer to gather on this important topic. All those that have paid for registration will receive a full refund.

However, we will be showcasing the Maritime Blue Innovation Accelerator – Virtually!

If you are already signed up for the Forum or the Showcase only – you will remain registered for the Virtual Showcase and Demo-Day.  If you have paid for a registration – the amount of the ticket will be refunded. If you have not yet registered – please do so right away!

About this Blue Forum

Find out how public and private investors are responding to the challenges and opportunities of the Blue Economy + A Showcase of the inaugural cohort of the Maritime Blue Innovation Accelerator.

Leading investors, maritime and ocean industry professionals, entrepreneurs, and policymakers gather to discuss the opportunities and various finance mechanisms to accelerate innovation and sustainability in the Blue Economy.

Investors have, up to now, been slow to respond to the state of the oceans. Despite a growing number of sustainability-themed global investment frameworks – such as the Sustainable Blue Economy Finance Principles, the Principles for Responsible Investment and the Principles for Sustainable Insurance – investor views on and awareness of the Blue Economy are not yet clear.

What is the Blue Economy?

Transportation – Energy   Fishing & Seafood – Ocean Observation and more..

The Blue Economy is predicted to grow at double the rate of the global economy by 2030.

Who is Financing the Blue Economy?

Taking advantage of significant growth, the Blue Economy will need to blend financing options, build hybrid stacks of capital, and coordinate across public and private agencies.

Who are the Innovators of the Blue Economy?

The Maritime Blue Innovation Accelerator Cohort will pitch their ideas to a curated audience of investors, mentors, corporate partners, and government officials.
