Maritime Blue, on behalf of its Quiet Sound program, is accepting Statements of Qualifications (SOQs) from partners who can provide timely, accurate whale sighting data for our real-time maritime alert systems. This is a vital step in our work to protect Southern Resident killer whales in Washington State.

Maritime Blue to Host Seattle’s Inaugural One Ocean Week
SEATTLE, WASHINGTON – (September 11, 2025) – Maritime Blue will host the inaugural One Ocean Week Seattle along the city’s waterfront from October 20-26, 2025.

Maritime Blue Launches Fifth Wave of the Innovation Accelerator
SEATTLE, WASHINGTON (March 13, 2025) — Washington Maritime Blue, in partnership with Meliorate Partners, proudly announces the launch of its fifth cohort of the Maritime Blue Innovation Accelerator, affectionately named The Fifth Wave. This four-month, mentor-driven accelerator program brings together founders from Washington, the broader region, and beyond to gain critical skills, connect with key resources, and scale their ocean-based innovations.
Federal Tax Credit Assistance for Maritime Users
Maritime Blue is working to educate the public about how clean energy fueled shore power project, EV Charging Infrastructure, or clean port handling equipment could be eligible for federal tax credits. Funding for this program provided the Washington Department of Commerce.
