Maritime Blue will be hosting an innovation pavilion at the Pacific Marine Expo to feature new and exciting technologies, markets, and best practices by co-locating booths and presentations at the adjacent West Stage including startup pitches and the region’s most impactful projects and initiatives to advance the new Blue Economy. Maritime Blue will also be hosting the State of the Blue Annual Gathering with global and regional updates on impact and investment across the Blue Economy.

Summer 2024

Following the release of the 2023 U.S. Ocean Climate Action Plan (OCAP), Maritime Blue partnered with Pacific Northwest National Lab to host a workshop this past fall. This workshop brought together a broad range of ocean, climate, and blue economy communities from the Greater Northwest. The goal was to discuss critical research needs and potential partnerships to advance the decarbonization priorities outlined in the OCAP. A summary of the event highlights the key topics covered, the challenges identified, and potential solutions for moving forward.
